Mission Statement and Object |
CEDT’s primary mission is “to promote applied research and innovation to foster competitiveness and improve business processes in firms, Entities from the Scientific and Technological National System’s and ICT’s. In concrete, the centre concentrates its efforts on culture development and diffusion, on practice and solid know-how on dematerialization of transactions”.
The object of CEDT is “to dynamize the relationships between intervening entities in the field of dematerialization of transactions and also grant priority to innovation strategies in the cited area. Company sensitization aiming the investment in research on dematerialization of transactions and orientation in the accessory acts necessary to the development of the joint object is also granted”.
To materialize its mission and object, CEDT concentrates all efforts on ideas and projects in the domains of ICT of major innovation and potential to generate Gross Domestic Product. CEDT also takes pride in the ability to promote and actively support the internationalization of companies with high growth potential. The expected result is an increase in productivity and entrepreneurial critical mass, making the firms’ sector more competitive and raising product and ICT services’ exports. In addition, the presence and image of Portugal Digital in foreign markets gains higher impact, and structural investment rates can grow in Portugal (in the ICT field). |
